Tillandsia staminea thick leaf form

Produces wonderfully fragrant purple flowers. The leaves are very thick and succulent-like. They're covered in thick, silver, velvety trichomes. This species is spectacular and a rare find!

Please note that younger plants may not have downward pointing leaves yet. As the plant matures and grows more leaves, the lower leaves begin to move to a downward position.
